How a mandate works
Four steps, from the first call to the report. At each one, you know what you provide and what you receive.
Confidential contact
You describe the situation by phone or through the form. A licensed investigator usually replies within 24 business hours. On the emergency line, the call-back comes within 2 hours. This first consultation is free.
You provide
A general description of the situation. Sensitive details are discussed by phone.
You receive
A first opinion: what can be done, what cannot, and the next steps.
Assessment and mandate
We analyse the situation, confirm it calls for a lawful and legitimate mandate, and define what must be established. The mandate is written, with an estimate before work begins.
You provide
Relevant documents (contracts, bills of lading, claim, correspondence) and the necessary access.
You receive
A written mandate: scope, method, timelines, estimate and confidentiality undertaking.
Investigation and evidence
Field work and documentary research, as the mandate requires. Every item gathered is dated, sourced and kept under a chain of custody. You are kept informed at the agreed milestones.
You provide
Your availability for milestone updates and, if needed, access to the sites or people involved.
You receive
Updates at the agreed milestones, with nothing disclosed to third parties.
Report and follow-up
The report sets out the established facts, the method and the exhibits, with no conclusion beyond what the evidence shows. We then support your steps with the insurer, lawyers or authorities, and the investigator can testify.
You provide
Your questions about the report and the next steps you have in mind.
You receive
A report usable as evidence, numbered exhibits and the chain of custody.
